Jorge Cordero, born and raised in Cuba from a family with several musicians and music was a part of everyday life.

With nine albums, four international awards and concerts around the world, Jorge Cordero has become widely acknowledged as one of the finest performers of salsa music in Europe.

Jorge Cordero has been nominated for the Danish World Music Awards several times… The music of Jorge Cordero has been in the Latin Charts in USA, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela and Puerto Rico, and his band has toured internationally.

Seven albums, four international awards and numerous tours across the world have resulted in international recognition and have put Jorge Cordero and his band Los Gran Daneses on the world map of salsa. The band consists of 10 top musicians from Cuba and Denmark. Jorge Cordero have proven that they are in the absolute elite of international salsa as they are pushing the genre forward when combining Cuban Timba with New York salsa and spicing it up with new latin elements, pop and rock.
