Ale Suarez & El Mawi

Alejandro Suárez Roa, Cádiz March 6, 1980. He began at the age of 9 singing in carnival groups.
At the age of 14 he began to play the guitar, receiving classes with Pepe Herrera and later with Andrés Martínez, Pedro Sierra and Oscar Lago. At the age of 18 he began playing with different Flamenco fusion groups.

At the age of 21 he began playing professionally in London. He has accompanied artists such as Claudia Cruz, Eduardo Guerrero, Maria Moreno, Mara Rey, Alonso Rancapino, Mawi, Luis de Luis, Joaquín Ruiz, etc. He is currently a regular member of the international band Rico Sánchez and the gipsies as well as “La Chirigota del Selu”
Throughout his career he has visited countries such as Russia, Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom, Austria, Turkey, Poland, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Azerbaijan, Morocco, etc. And Theaters such as the Liceo in Barcelona, Teatro Apolo in Madrid, Opera in Munich, Euskalduna in Bilbao or Barbican in London. 

He is a guitarist of great versatility, playing different musical styles such as Flamenco, Latin, Folk or Bossanova.

Mawi is a multifaceted singer, dancer with deep love for Flamenco.
